To answer your question (a little obscurely), almost all of the music here comes either from my personal collection, eMusic.com or... other sources (no names, though!). I post things that I like and/or that I think are worth hearing (some things here are not to my taste per se) and I *hope* that this blog is helping to generate interest (and sales, for independent artists especially). I'm a percussionist myself (mostly Middle Eastern and W. African), so that does play a role in many of my choices.

Now, I have to ask you - where can I find more tambu? Got any good NY-area (or other) sources that you can recommend? I'm all ears!
