Afro-Spanish singer Concha Buika is new to me - she's barely known outside Spain. The lady deserves a far larger audience, and better promotion. With that in mind, here are two songs from her second CD. (There's live video at the link.)

I completely agree. The third album is ca successful attempt to package Buika as a flamenco cross over artist and ought to be one of the biggest international albums of the last few years but it's not even always available on amazon uk. Where is the promotion?
I wrote about her in my blog some months ago... She's amazing!! I don't understand the reason for this absence in amazon. Her record company in Spain is Atlantic, a major related with Warner Music...
